Rotax Micro Tuning
We are racing in the Swiss Micro championship and our regulation may slightly differ from the US regulations. Last year we had to mount the restrictor (blue,19mm opening) after the carburator, the exhaust restrictor (cylinder outlet, 22mm) and a carburator sleeve for restriction of lift (38mm sleeve). This year the Swiss rules say that the blue restrictor, after the carburator, can be taken out. The other restrictions remain.
Has anyone experience in the above issue and experienced some difference in power output? I assume some jet adjustment will be necessary but I do not expect too much changing due to the exhaust restrictor and sleeve. Although we plan to make some testing on two engines we are much interested to hear from you.
