is there a preference between a 09 or 10 cylinder? since i need to replace mine i was wondering if a should go with a 09 or 10.

The cylinder is the luck of the draw. From our experience the new machining process is the same once the factory changed to the 09 standards. The measurements are very close. I would say the performance is usually found in driver training and the chassis set up that will take off tenths, while a cylinder change might account for hundreths of a second.

thank you garry, what about if i have an late 08 cylinder? is there a way to tell if i should upgrade or should i just play it safe? what is your opinion, thanks

In terms of an 08 Jr. Cylinder, I would suggest you look for something newer.
