Smile Thank you MRP

My son Hunter races in the Rookie 1 class at MRP. You might remember him as the one that got on his head in the Monza on the opening weekend, or the kid who has the long curly red hair, or you might know him as the kid that likes everyone in the paddock. He would qualify for all those.

We just want to say to everyone that works at MRP and the competitors we race with, THANK YOU.

My family comes from a long history in racing. My childhood was spent traveling from track to track following my dad in USAC sprint cars and eventually Indy cars. My brother Scott had a wonderful 15 year career in Indy cars that ended tragically but his life would not have been complete without racing. I was fortunate enough to compete in over 150 races in various types of cars but never in a go kart.

I had no idea when we met Brent at the Indy 500 fanfest in 2008, how much fun as a family we would have and what a wonderful experience it would be for Hunter. I didn't think kart racing started until the teen years for kids, much less 4 year olds. The Rookie 1 and Kid kart programs are the future and Brent, you do a great job with the kids.

Gary, you should be proud of what is happening at the track from your employees. I have had several times where I had a question about something due to my lack of experience with karts, and I always get an answer. That makes it fun to come back.

Special thanks to Brent, Jim and Sandy out at the Tiki Bar (the nights wouldn't be the same without you), and to Leslie and Hanna for helping show Hunter the line and being his friend. To Sean and Rick for being there when we need you even when you are racing yourself.

We look forward to being at MRP for many years to come and moving up through the classes when the time is right.

If you are someone who is looking for a place to race I would highly recommend checking out MRP.

We will see you very soon.

Mr. Brayton, thank you for the kind words and I would like to say that you and your family are a prime example of the bonding that karting creates, between a family and competitors. Hunter has become quite the driver and it is exciting to see him progress, and always have fun whether he's in the kart or out. Thanks again for the kind words, and thanks again for the wonderful meals.

See you soon,
Sean

Now there is a name from the past! Great to hear from you Todd - glad to see you found MRP and karting. You are in great hands with Brent and the folks at South Bend.

Hopefully we see you along the way - we've been drawn in to the karting world for a bunch of years now. It is a great family sport and something you'll have to share with Hunter for years after he leaves the drivers seat.

I'm looking forward to touching base again some day - maybe we'll see you at South Bend on one of our road trips. Have fun!

Thanks Todd for the fine report, this is what keeps our staff energized!

Dan, we have a double header coming up on July 4/5 with track forward, then track backward racing. I hope you can join in the fun if you are not busy at Beaver Run. It would be great to have you and your customers come out and get the extra MRP support for one of our top dealers.

I can even offer some low priced Rotax rentals for the weekend. We have a total of 12 different packages to rent to help build the Rotax program at your track.
Best to all.
