Default '04 Cadet Wowww!

We tested an "04 Birel Cadet this weekend at Oakland Valley and it was unbelievably fast. We missed all the practices b/c we were setting the kart up. Missed qualifying and had to start last for the prefinal. Lost a chain on second turn of warmup lap! Started in 11th spot (last) for final with only 7 laps total under a 9 year olds belt on this brand new chassis. Finished in 2nd spot and was only .09 from the track record! Over .2 quicker than anybody else. This chassis performed flawlessly at this point. Hope it works just as well on a high grip track too. Forgot to mention the field had 5 drivers with National level experience and multple poles and podiums. Very cool. Learned alot from the test and there is still alot left in the kart, just ran out of laps and time. Birel support at the track (parts/assistance) was phenomenal, as usual.

Great report! Thanks for the update. This is the kart that Brent and I have been hoping you would try. I'm sure Italy will be very excited about this test and will be anxious to hear the rest of the story when they arrive for the SKUSA Super Nats in Vegas.

Hopefullly you will get more time to complete the testing. Garry
