Default Tire Storage?

Has anyone ever had luck storing tires through the winter? We have a set of sticker Mojo D2's that we didn't get to use at the RMAX Nats, and as of now, we're out of opportunities to burn them up. I've seen the way the oils dry up in the rubber compounds if they sit dormant too long, so I was wondering if there are any old tricks out there...like bagging them in the basement?...that anyone would like to share.

Thanks,

Jared

Jared - I've had this new set of Bridgestone YHC front tires in my garage for over a year. I finally had a chance to use them this past weekend and matched them to a brand new set of rear YHCs. The front tires were kept in their original wrapping and I didn't notice any performance differences between the front and rear tires. I can't opine on the Mojos but I've had good success storing YHCs and MG tires. I always completing cover my used tires with clear plastic wrap, and generally leave the new tires in their original wrapping.
