As a dad of a Junior driver, I am requesting that potential Junior drivers committ to team MRP asap for the upcoming season. I know there is tremendous strength in numbers and we need more Jr drivers to join our team. I think Sage proved the Jr chassis works at the WKA New Castle race. It was our first time in the class and we were competitive with no testing whatsoever.
I'd like to get a core group of drivers that wil committ to the MRP team and testing. I know Chris and Tim will take us testing if we get drivers. However, to drive a trailer to a track and set up for one driver isn't good business practice. With the exception of the first day of Daytona, I think that Sage will compete at every WKA race next year, as long as our sponsors come through. We still need a tire, engine and entry-fee sponsor, if you are interested in helping us, notify me. The partnerships are pretty cool and you will be happy. At the very least, notify Chris about next years intentions, i.e. WKA, Stars, Rotax and classes. Thanks, Jody www.sagekaram.com |

Jody,
We have a large group of Juniors running out of our shop now that plan to run most, if not all, of the Nationals next year. We would most likely be interested in teaming up for any test days. So far we have Trent Walko, Grant Cain, Connor Hayes, Kylie Flickinger, Andy Schlosser, Nick Rivellini, Ayrton Mutagaana, Ayrton Climo and hopefully Austin Dilts, Zach Knotts and Jacob Kerstetter all with either an RX30, R30 or Z30 intending to run WKA in 2009. Some of those BeaveRun kids you already know from under the MRP tent and some are probably going to be back there again next year. Keep us posted. I don't think I've ever had the pleasure of meeting the Karam family, but I don't think that's any reason for me not to comment on what a great driver Sage is. This year was my first karting season, and I started it in Jr. Sportsman. I am moving up to juniors at the end of the season, and have done a bit of testing in junior karts. The difference is incredible, but not as incredible as Sage's transition between the classes. To be right up at the front at a high class event like New Castle with such little testing is awsome! Hopefully, I can move from sportsman to juniors as well as Sage did, and I also hope someday I'll get to race against you, even though you'll probably lap me
