Both my daughters and my Kart have a l&t clutch. Is a puller necc., and what is the procedure for pulling the clutch correctly?

Check out http://www.ltmfg.com/ . There is a puller and clutch holder needed to remove the clutch. If it is a wet-clutch,
1. Drain oil and remove clutch cover 2. Utilize clutch holder and remove starter nut 3. Thread puller where the starter nut was 4. Utilized clutch holder and puller to remove clutch from crank (it will POP so don't be alarmed) 5. Now with clutch off, you can remove the crank key, clutch drum, and spacer Good Luck. |

The clutch that you have Jody is a dry clutch. We give you the clutch holder, but you will need to purchase the puller. You can leave it on the engine in order to bring that in for sealing purposes and we can show you here at the shop about how to do that.

Do you have the puller available? I think my clutch is fine but my daughters will need at least a friction disc. to much off and on the gas for hers last season has it slipping I'm afraid. I'm going to try to get you the engine today or tomorrow. I have it off the Kart already |
