Default KT-100 Break In/ YDS Tire Pressure

We will be breaking in a new KT-100 engine. Are there any suggested carb settings or adjustments that should be made during this break in period?

Also, what is the suggested tire pressure setting for the YDS tires during this break-in period?

Thanks

With the stock motor we would set the low needle at 1 and 1/2 out from full closed position. The high needle should be 1/2 to 3/4 from the closed position. Please do not close the needles too tight when you are trying to find the closed position. You run the risk of breaking the tip of the needles off.

In follow up on the yds tires. I'd suggest talking with the locals on the day you arrive at the track. It all depends on how cold the temps are. In the past I have heard pressures in the mid 30's.

I'd suggest start at 24 all around, then do ten laps and recheck to make sure the pressures grow by at least 2 lbs.
