Looking for recommendations on buying a used Birel for my 9 YO. He is about 50 " tall, weighs about 50 lbs. Ran Kid Kart last year at East Lansing, MI. Need to move up to 8 - 12 Clone Sportsman (265 lb weight). I have a line on an AR1, but I understand that is a 1040 mm wheelbase. I'm thinking he needs a 900 MM or 950 MM.
Birels do well at ELKT. And a friend is running one so hpoefully we can learn from each other. Looking to be able to share our knowledge Not ready to buy new, until we are sure that he wants to stay with it. On the other hand, want good enough equipment that we don't set ourselves up for failure. Thinking $1,000 to $1,500 for a roller? Thanks for the help, and the great forum. I've learned a lot in just a few hours |

I might suggest the AR28Z. This has been a popular 4-cycle kart in Canada for the honda classes. Contact us at the shop - 269-756-9133 or email sales@mrpmotorsport.com to see availability of these used. I know they are around.
