I've seen a lot of different engine mounts for the Rotax engine - some that are slanted and others not. Does it help a rotax to have it slanted? And do some engine mounts work better than others? Or is one engine mount as good as the next so long as it holds your engine on?
Thanks Paul |

We run 10deg mounts on our senior karts. We prefer the 10deg mounts because it adds clearance under the pipe for seat strut routing. The rotax will work on either a 5 or 10 deg mount.

Good to know. So the degree of slant on the engine mount is not a performance issue, but rather just a fitting issue, correct? Good to know. Thanks. Having said that, do some engine mounts perform better than others?
