I bought this frame off ebay. There is no numbers letters of any kind on it any where to id it.
Can some one tell me what frame it is. Im starting to think its not a Birel. Is it a kiddy frame? Hope not I want to build a shifter cart with a honda 125 motor on it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT |

Hello Medic,
Your instincts are correct. That is most certainly not a Birel and in fact, it looks as though it was been "repaired" ....poorly in fact. To source spindles, uprights, linkages, etc. You would have been much better off buying a kart as a roller. Brakes alone can be over $500, plus that chassis looks like it had been wrecked and rewelded. When preparing higher hp shifterkarts, you should consider safety and quality of materials, which this choice is certainly not a good foundation to start from. Good luck.
