HOW TO: All About Freeline Brake Systems
The Freeline brake systems found on your Birel or Monza racing karts are among the best on the market. With any high-performance system, however, routine maintenance and parts inspection is needed.
As always - contact MRP Motorsport or your local dealer to order your replacement parts. If you have a problem seeing a part number or deciphering what part you need, call our tech support line: 269-756-9133.
The following images showcase complete brake systems and their part numbers as well as ways to decipher which part you need or have on your kart.
The 2008 model "C" style calipers are a different width to incorporate the all new ceramic brake pads. Please note that you cannot fit the 2008 brake pads in a 2007 or older "C" style caliper system properly.
