I need a good starting point for chassis tuning for a 2004 monza chassis with a rotax Sr motor. Running Mojo Spec tires. 5'10" 195lbs. Just need a ball park to start.

Ryan,
To be honest with you, I would start with the setup that came on it out of the box. The Italians do a lot of testing to figure out what works best, and then build the karts with a very good base setup to start with based on their testing. The Monza chassis is based on the 932 chassis which was a very well rounded chassis, worked well in just about any condition. Now once you get on track and get a feel for things, then you start making adjustments based on what you want out of the kart, thats how we usually start our testing. But remember things are always changing, what works one day, may not work the next. Hope this helps. If you want some tips on what to try as far as adjustments I'll be glad to help. ~Wes ~Wesley Boswell |

The kart was origonally set-up for a 3-hole KT-100 class, so the settings won't apply. Currently I'm running YHC with a 55in rear track width and 54in in the front. The weight balance is ~70lb each front wheel and 105 in the rear. Just want to make sure I'm not starting way off.
