Can you tell me what the rim width should be on a Cadet and Jr Sportsman. I know you can use different widths for tuning, but in general how wide, 4.5 to 5.5. Also what width for 4.5 rains?
Thanks |

The front rain should be a 120 mm for the 4.5 wide tire.
The rear should be a 130mm. The jury is out for next year as the tire you run will make a difference. For example, if one runs the MG SLE then you have one set of rims and if it turns out to be a Bridgestone C we will need to do some testing. I'll defer to Jody Karem and see if he won't assist on this question. He is the in house expert on this information. |

The rim width is a huge factor! We have tested both tires and know which width is best.
This is Gospel in 90 % of the situations - front 4.75, rear 5.5 . Gotta be DWT (Doulglas). Chris and Tim are aware of the wheel and know what you need. |

Hello! We are running a C28 CJ with Bridgestone YHC tires and have 130mm wheels all around. Would you still suggest the DWT wheels in the widths you mentioned earlier with this tire?
Thanks! |

Jody gave you his best answer. No need to ask twice. In the old days as a stock broker(my former life) when a customer asked the 3rd time, I'd tell them what they wanted to hear. Then when it went wrong, they would blame their broker.
I'm serious, Jody knows his stuff. He gave you his secrets and there is not much more to say other than to call your Birel dealer or to call our office to order the right stuff. 269-756-9133. If you need the name of your local dealer please call too so we can direct you to the right person for full time support. Thanks for asking. |

After looking through the thread again, I certainly did re-ask a question that was already answered. Oops!
I will be more than happy to blame it on the jet-lag! ;-) Thanks again to everyone for your help. Speak with you soon. |
