Action will be heating up after a week off from racing. We expect the temps to rise as well as the speeds of the many drivers who plan on attending this weekends racing events in the region. New track records are expected!
RGR will host a points race on Saturday in Michigan followed by the 3:30 PM Kid kart and Jr. League night. Call Brent at 574-288-4922 to reserve kid karts ( only 4 available).
Saturday near North Liberty at the MRP track will be hectic. We have two organized events starting at 9 AM Saturday. Racer practice will be limited and I suggest you plan your practice after 12 noon. We will run until 7 pm for all karts except shifters. Shifters will have to stop at 6 pm.
This will be our 2nd event of the Klein Tools Rotax Challenge. The mini max drivers are expected to return in force as we tackle the A track which is also the Great Lakes Sprint series layout. Great Lakes will be hitting town for a very busy three day weekend over Memorial day weekend. I hope many of the local drivers will participate.
If you need hotel rooms, book them now. Our rooms blocked at the Day's iInn across from the airport will be released on Wednesday at noon. This weekend is Notre Dame Graduation and there is not a room to be found in South Bend. Next week is a heavy travel weekend and we have rooms for the moment at good prices, but make your reservations now.. please!
