i have an m-32 with 125 leopard. i am having to much over steer coming out of the corner.i have checked many web sites on adjustments but have found on more than ocashion of people and or web sites saying to do exactly the oppisite. I thought I should bring the front wheels in, move rear hubs out, put in side torsion, I do not have a rear torsion bar.Front bar in or out?? HELP
thanks Bryan Walsh

moving the front wheels in will help, first though, I would try adding the side torsion bar and then try with no bars at all (side and front removed). Get a feeling for what the chassis is like with the bars in and then pull one out at a time starting with the side and then the front. More than likely moving the spindles up will help you as well.

This is the official MRP/Birel America site. While we don't always have the right answers, we have a consistant pattern of trying to sort out a problem.

My suggestion is to stick with one theory of ideas and then don't go asking everyone "what do you think"? By asking everyone, you will usually wind up with the worst possible set up.

There are many ways to tune a kart, if you start by following this forum, then I'd stick with this theory in order to save yourself time and frustration. Obviously we are biased and suggest a chassis tuning school with one of our three locations.

Bryan (Tyler),

I saw your similar post on EKN that is getting some response.

Garry's post says a lot. Asking 50 different people will get you about 50 different answers. This site has the most knowledgable birel tuners in the country keeping tabs and offering advice. I would only ask in one place to get consistent answers. In my opinion, this is the place.

The most telling statement that you made on EKN was that "we are running very old tires, barely any of the little holes are showing". This is the absolute worst thing to have on your kart while asking for tuning advice from anyone.

Those tires have the memory of every tuning error ever made on them. Throw them away and start fresh. Then ask for a little help.
