This past weekend's race wound up with an issue for some two cycle drivers in the fuel tech barn.
I am not a chemist, but with the new federal laws and the gasoline mixture, some pump gas may not make it through the fuel testing system used based on the WKA tech book.
As racers know we operate under WKA rules with a few exceptions. Random fuel sampling was done on one entire class and lead to an unfortunate d.q. I don't think anyone is using dangerous chemical or exotic fuels, but in this case the meter showed a lack of compliance with the fuel test. Please double check with the local Michiana area kart shops to confirm the best fuel to avoid this from happening in the future.
