I race a AR28 age 13-15, what would
be a competitive Lap Time for my group?
Thanks Tyler Baber

hello tyler, pardon my ignorance, but, where do you race?

If you are speaking about MRP at South Bend it all depends on the track design of the race weekend. It is not possible to say the best time until we see what the track layout is or the weather conditions. The new corner has been added as well and that will change the times to.

I wasn't sure where you were racing. Thanks for the response.. I'd say in the first 200 laps of practice if you can get under 25 seconds that will be very good. In order to set a track record you will be looking at really good conditions if we have a hot summer, then a crisp August Saturday race day and maybe you see times down at the 22.80 mark..The point is that in the Spring the track will not be warm, but the air conditons will be good for carb workings. In the summer the track will be hot and sticky for good grip, but the air will be low quality. The perfect match is to have a period of hot weather followed by one cool August day.
Hope you make it out over Spring break and get lots of laps in before the first race.
