does anybody have any tricks for applying stickers? on my last kart the stickers didn't stick real well. do you wipe the plastic down with something first?

a good washdown with soap and water to start. Then use a achohol swab to prep the plastic. Basic cleaniness while applying helps too. I have used some of the adhesion promoters for painting also to get the surface tacky.(note if you use these dont expect to get the sticker off easily)

i'll try that. when i put them on before they wouldn't stick too good. after a few months i went to remove them and they were on pretty good then.
i don't want to use adhesive.
i just wondered what to wash it down with while not marring the plastic. thanks.

At the MRP shop, we use brake clean on the pods and wipe down with a dry cloth.
Then we use a hair dryer and gently apply the stickers starting at one corner and working our way back. This is done on hundreds of sets of pods per year, and has been successful.
