How long has your son been racing? Tires that you are using? all of that helps. Have you researched the archives in this forum. This has been a subject of interest in thepast. The race team guys are packing out for the Florida Winter tour again and maynot get toyour request right away. Thanks in advance.

my son has been racing 4-cycles the last 2 seasons so we are fairly new at this. we will be running the WKA mandated YHC (4.5 front and 6 rear). i did check the past posts and found some helpful info. just trying to get as much info as possible. i should receive the kart by the middle of this week so i'll be able to check it out and get a little more familiar with it. thanks for any help.

Too much information can often overload the equation. I'd suggest going with the stock set up but that depends on the motor package you will be using. Is it still going to be a 4 cycle?

i just ordered a sean cook kt-100. we are selling our 4-cycle stuff as they don't run them at beaverun. only 4 last year. i was really looking for opinions on whether or not this was a good chassis for jr. can or if it is too soft or too stiff or any possible issues with it.

We have had very good results with the R30 from Jr. Can to Sr. Sportsman. There are numerous baseline setup already on the forum. If you look back through the archives you'll be able to get some valid information. If you can't find anything I will be glad to rewrite something for you.

thanks.found alot on here. we're coming from 4-cycle so we are basically starting from scratch and don't know anything about 2 cycles or birels. i'm glad to hear you were happy with the r-30. i was a little worried that it might not the right choice for our class or whatever. how is the adjustability on these? i haven't even got mine yet so i can't even look at it to see. how about caster/camber adjustments? ackerman? stuff like that. does it seem to be a hard chassis to dial in or is it pretty consistent? anything i should watch out for or do special with it? thanks, danny.
