Well the new race season is starting in a couple of weeks and I wanted to put in new bearings on the kart. However, I can't seem to get the bearings out of the rear cassette carrier. Is there a trick to replacing these bearings? Surely I don't have to replace the entire carrier as well.
What am I missing or doing wrong? Appreciate your help.

This subject has been discussed before. You might look through the archives. It is difficult to go into detail on the forum.. but take bearing hanger out of the upright. Use a bent axle to twist the bearing inside the cassette ( after you loosen the screws of the bearing cassette) spray with WD to soften it up and there should be a recessed area on the bearing cassette, move the bearing into that position and gently twist out. It will pop out when you least expect it and then you will say " how did I do that again"!
