We need to add front brakes to our AR30. What's the best solution? What parts do we need?

Unfortunately the AR30 is a 12 degree front end. All of our (Birel) front brake spindles are 10 degree. While it is possible to get 2 degrees out of the spindle using eccentric bushings we don't recommend it because you loose all of your caster adjustment compensating for the differnence in camber. If you do choose to install front wheel brakes you will need:2 spindles, 2 discs, 2 hubs, 2 wheel hub support (it bolts to the brake disc and carries the hub), 2 keys, 2 caliper assembly's, 3 brakes lines, three fittings (one tee and two 90's), 1 master cylinder, 2 spacers to go betweent the master cylinders, two long bolts, dual brake cable rod, and some brake fluid. I don't have the prices at my fingertips at the moment...sorry.
hope this helps.

In the past when I have priced this unit out it is usually $900-$1200 to complete, depending on whether you have the correct hubs for the front spindles and the correct wheels.

Thanks Garry. Pretty much what we needed to know. We appreciate it.
