Usually 4.5 (fronts) all the way around the kart.

are you talking about the JR. 1s or JR. 2s?
jr.1s 8-12 year olds shuld run 4.50s all around
jr. 2s 12-15 year olds run 4.50s in front and 6.00s in the rear

The intention of this class is to run the 4.5 Bridgestone C compound. Yes, most drivers do run 4.5 all around but at South Bend it will be a spec tire.

Garry are you sure? 4.5s on the rear seem to small. maby its a WKA rule. when we put 4.5s on the rear of my kart it goes all down hill. again im talking of Jr. 2 super sportsman. 305 lbs. 12-15
Scott are you talking about Jr. 1s or Jr. 2s???

Jr. Sportsman says 8-12 years old.
Jr. says 12-15 year olds. I think that explains it.
