Want to get into Karting

I live relativley close to the South Bend Indiana track and the Buchanan Michigan track. I Drag Race cars and want to get into Karting as a second hobby. I was curious on what people thought might be a good Kart to get into or class. I would probably be looking for a used Kart. I am out of Laporte Indiana, so if someone is local to me that is in Karting I would greatly appreciate some pointers.
