This past weekend I had some significant issues getting grip on all four wheels. The weather was cold (~40-45 degrees) and the track did not have much rubber. I don't normally have any issues on my home track with the same weather conditions. Someone mentioned to me that my inside rear tire was higher than normal through the turns.
TaG
50mm 1040 F axle
Seat manufacter spec
rear wheels all the way out
long rear hubs
3.5 front spacer
YHC tires 15 lbs.
front bar in
no 4th rail
All three bearing hangers bolted in
Any ideas?

Hello John,
I have found that in cold weather (same as low grip situations) the softer you go with the chassis the better (to an extent...there is a point that the chassis is too soft and just lays flat). Definitely test short hubs. If that helps, loosen the middle bearing on the axle. If that helps, put a softer axle in and tighten the middle bearing. I have run with no seat struts on very cold days or low grip tracks. The theory of stiffening the chassis to create sidebite doesn't work when there is no sidebight to be had. Instead, go softer with it to prematurely let the kart work and twist and pick up the inside back tire. Hope this helps.
regards,
chris

I don't think I had an issue lifting the inside rear. I actually think it lifted a bit to high possibly, from maybe too much flex altogether.
I forgot to ask something. I don't own a 4th rail or a rear stabilizer bar. Would either of those things helped?
