View Full Version : Axles Markings
Hello, I picked up some parts at a local swapmeet and I am trying to figure out what markings are on some of the freeline axles I bought. I have one 40mm axle that is red on the end I beleive to be medium, I have another marked yellow that I beleive to be soft is that correct. Thanks for the help.

The current Free Line axles will have the data etched on the left side of the axle. Depending on how old the material is that you purchased you may be able to determine this from that information.
Anyone wishing to have an axle chart sent to them please call your local dealer. Or if need be email me with your name and mailing details. email mrp@qtm.net and I will forward to you the current axle chart.
It is suspected that if it is a genuine Birel but old vintage and a red inner marking there should then be the letter m etched in the right key way.
The yellow could be an F and the same thought applies. The letter F should be etched inthe right key way. If you have holes for the stake axle keys and a yellow axle then it is an f-25 axle. Hope that helps. Garry
Thanks Gary that was exactly what I found. Thanks again.
