View Full Version : R30C-Y Seat Placement
Could you please provide R30C-Y seat position information for both a small and medium size seat. My son will be running in Yamaha 3hc class with a weight requirement of 285 lbs and he is only 85 lbs.

The race team is on the road again. We will see what we can come up with.

For the small seat:
Flush with bottom of the frame rails
58 1/2 cm from left front edge of the seat to the front axle (facing seat)
59 1/2 cm from right front edge of seat to front axles ( facing the seat)
From top of axle to top of seat back 25 cm.
In the medium seat:
3mm below bottom of frame rails
59 cm from left front edge of seat to front axle as described above.
60 cm from right front edge of seat to front axle
from top of axle to top of seat back 24 cm.
It is not clear from where on the axle I should be measuring. For example, do I measure diagonally from the king pin to the front of the seat, diagonally from the end of the axle to the front of the seat? Or do I draw a straight line from left to right axles and than measure perpendicular from that line to the front of the seat.
Gary, disregard my last message. Being a newbie I was confusing the term axle with the spindles.
