Brake Problems

I bought a Birel R-32 (not sure whether it is the SP, or the ST series) in October of last year. I ran it at Daytona (first time the kart saw the track) in TaG and qualified 27th, but the master cylinder stuck and maintained pressure on the caliper, so the pads were rubbing the rotor hard. We replaced the master cylinder and had no problems for the rest of the day and ended up 13th. Did anyone else have this problem?

Could of been the brake fluid expanding, was you trail braking?
