I am new to karting, and not having very great success this year... I am currently in a First Kart Monaco, and have no idea on how to set it up, and most drivers at our club are in Birel karts. So.... I am planning on purchasing an AR30, in hopes that it is a better / more driveable kart, and that I will have some assistance in setup.

I am not afraid to go as hard as the kart will take me, and I know that I am over driving, trying to make up my lost corner time by dumping it in deep after the long straight at our track... I know that doesn't work - at all!

I drive a 6.5 honda in the masters class (365lbs.) My motor beats most down the straight, but then I suck...

Is the 30 a chassis that I want? I know my driving style has to change dramatically, and through correct setup, I believe I will be quick to change. It's just currently, I think I'm setup completely wrong, and I can't get it through my head that slower is faster sometimes....

HELP!

Hi Dan we have had great results with the R30 and AM 29 in the SR / Masters classes in Canada. As you seen at the Nationals at Shannonville with us winning 10 out of 13, 4 Cyl classes. For your application the R 30 is the easiest to drive and set up. On a very sticky track with lots of rubber down the AM 29 sometimes can be a tenth or so faster depending on the track and the day.

With any of the Birel products we can help you out with set up ,component choices etc... as we have spent years testing the 4 cyl stuff. With your current kart you are left somewhat on your own as far as set up which can be difficult for a new driver.

We do have new karts in stock and several used team karts
coming up for sale in the coming weeks to make room for next year
