Hey All,

My brother has a 03 Birel CR32 with a stock bore KT100 setup. We are looking to upgrade him to a TAG setup so we would like to either sell the KT100 off the Birel or sell the whole kart and look for another chassis with a TAG setup. The only reason we would sell the whole kart is because I do not think he would have enough cash to buy a TAG engine if he simply sold the KT100 off the kart.

I am looking for an estimation on the value of a 2003 CR32 with a stock bore KT100. The chassis is relatively old on paper, but it only have about 6 hours of use on it. The KT has about the same amount of time on it. It has upgraded bodywork, a Digitron DT-32 gauge, Douglas Mag wheels and a Caliba Large seat. Aside from that, it's all stock and as it came from the factory.

Any estimates on what this kart would fetch if sold as it is? Here are a few pics of the kart (sorry, I do not have many pics)

The kart on the left:

Thanks all,

It is hard to place a value on the kart and engine. One would assume that you could get $1,000 out of a fresh KT engine package. With the kart being a front brake kart, we could expect at least $2,000. Without a first hand inspection it is difficult to guess.

There are a number of Rotax engines coming up for sale through MRP's rental program used at the Florida Winter tour. These are priced in the $2,000 range with complete accessories kit.

Rotax is reliable and fast!

I kind of assumed I would get this answer. Thanks for the response!
