Hi Marc,
I see that you are in Southern California, what city are you located in?
Over the years, I have seen several birel chassis models work for HPV classes. From R31 to R30, to Q31 and so on. The truth of the matter is that Birels Work. Are you looking at new or used?

Andy, I have been offered a 2007 M32 and a 2007 R32. I was considereing buying one and installing a HPV4 motor and goracing. My son races HPV2 and we have a couple of spare motors.
I get the feeling the M32 and R32 are a little large (tube Dia) for this HPV4 class, and have been told by people at the track the 31 chassis would work much better, maybe even a 30 chassis.
I am 5'7" and weight 175 probily 190 with all the gear on.
We use the AR28 and M29 in the HPV2 class for my son (Marc)
Thanks for your input
James

James,
Over the years in this sport, I have found that we can pretty much make all of the birel chassis work, although some chassis are better suited for some situations than others.
That being said, the RX30, Ry31 or Ry30 are better suited for HPV-4 at 340lbs on SoCal tracks than the other chassis are.
If you are interested in any of those, give us a call and we'll see if we can find you one.
Thanks,
Andy
