When I look in your catalog, it looks like the bumper bolts are inserted into the rear tube with the nut going in first, inside the tube. I need to be able to remove the rear bumper quite often, can I assemble so that the nut is on the outside of the rear bumper, not located inside the tube (reversed) Also, with the elephant ear rear bumper, does that go underneath the lower "straight tube" bumper, or in front of it on the bumper bolts? Shouldn't the two bumpers (lower and elephant ear) be separated by a nut, or a spacer, not bolted together (stacked), one on top of the other in the same space on the bumper bolts? If you have any pics that would be great of how you put the elephant ear bumper onto the existing rear bumper set up. Its for a R30 C-Y.

The bolt end of the bumper always goes first so that the nut stays on the outside.

And yes - we usually use a washer in between the bumpers. Most of the time we add a nut, then put the cross bar or extended bumpers in between that and a lock nut so it can stay floating.

I will try to locate a photo or 2.

Try this photo.... you can just see how the bolts are set up.
