Where is the best place to start with chassis settings for yamaha jr. sportsman and the AR-28? Consider open tires (MG Yellow) 4.60 on all four corners.
1. Seat placement (sm/x-sm.seat)?
1.5. Seat struts? (yes, no, how many)
2. front spindle hieght (spacer top or spacer below)?
3. Front toe settings?
4. Front track width?(standard spindles)
5. Stearing shaft tie rod attachment points? (which holes to use?)
6. Rear track width
7. Best place to put 40 lbs. of lead?(all on the seat?)
It would be great if you had setup sheets on your website as well as tips for adjusting for various track conditions!
Thanks!

1) The seat placement will depend on the drivers build.
2) Yes I would run seat struts. One on each side.
3) Front toe either stright or 2mm out. Most people run 2mm toe out.
4) I like to start at 1.5 spacers (1 thick and 1 thin) and tune from there
5) We like to use the two outer holes on the upper plate.
6) Trackwidth I don't recall what we like to run.
7) Beings that your using a small seat, its probably a small/short driver and the seat is going to fairly far forward, so you would want to put the weight towards the rear of the kart. I like to see the kart scale some where around 60-40 on the scales.

The set up sheets are available through your dealers. It is a one on one attempt by us to allow exchange of proprietary information that is fine tuned to your driver and your local track. As a side note the AR28 was the hot kart with a 30 mm axle for a very light Rotax Jr. in Vegas this weekend. Only a sputtering motor forced the kid who lead the most laps to settle for second and that was after qualifying in 29th position. Birel had the top three spots for Rotax JR.
