40 mm axle

How would I tell which axle I have in the kart. where are the markings on axle cr632 40 mm axle.

The markings are usually on the lh side of the axle & are embossed (printed, etched) in. You may also look inside the axle ends for a color of paint which will tell you what hardness it is. 40 x 3 x 1040M would mean it is 40 mm diameter x 3mm thick x 1040mm long. M would tell you the Modules (hardness) of the axle.
