I have a 2007 R31 Chassis.
Regardless of what adjustments I've made recently, my son says the kart doesn't handle well (he was happy with it earlier in the year).
I put it on the scales (driver in the seat) and found the front left reading is ~23 pounds heavier that the right front.
The right rear reading is nearly 30 pounds heavier than the left rear.
By moving spacers, I moved the left spindle to its highest position and moved the right spindle to its lowest position. I used my sniper to align the the front end and now the front is now within 2 pounds left to right and the rear is within 7 pounds left to right. I'm sure it won't handle very well configured that way, but I deducted (right or wrong) that the chassis must be twisted.
Do you agree that the chassis is most likely twisted? What's the preferred method to get the chassis back into alignment? Any home shop remedies?
Thanks,
Pitdad
