CSIRO & Jody J, you may be interested in this link to info on the Q31 chassis from 2000-20001. Found today on Google under the "10 year anniversay old archive search" feature.

The letters X and Z at the end are the model year. Q31x is 2000, Q31z is 2001, the C means it was designed for shifter, I think it has more caster built into the frame where the spindles mount, and had front brakes. I have raced the arrive n drives at MRP and always use kart #63 which is a CQ31z I believe. I just put this post up because user CSIRO was looking for more info on his old chassis and I knew you had one also.
The 10 year old Google link was interesting to search old databases for out of date models. You can also link to the old MRP website from the early 90"s here as well:

You have to click on the "About Us" tab on the left side to see the picture, pictures on the home page don't seem to load.

Great info. Thanks again. my Kart was numbered 42 from mrp and I just kept the number. What has struck me as interesting though is that even though it's old it still seems to do an ok job for a guy thats not yet a great driver. (well once I strapped on a decent motor anyways)
