The results for Race 11 track B will be posted shortly. We have been having technical difficulties all week with the mylaps site, but are working very hard to supply you with this great service. Thanks for your understanding.

Update: We are having trouble with the upload to MYLAPS. We have put in a tech support ticket with AMB, and are trying to fix the problem. They are in the process of changing the MYLAPS website, and I believe this is contributing to the issue. Sorry for the delay, and I will keep everyone posted. Thanks, Sean.

Sean,

I printed off the Race 11 results from MyLaps a few days ago. They are there but not in the expected order of events - look down the list a little.

Would you mind posting the link? I have looked through the 20 pages that come up when searching "michiana raceway park" and I have found races such as robopong, and slot car races, but not ANY of our results. I am starting to get frustrated with the new mylaps.

Thanks Bruce for giving us the idea of buying the new program. Thanks for your follow up support of the new program. I'm sure it will get sorted out. Sean, you are doing a great job as is Kelly B. who reloaded the data again on Saturday this past weekend. I'd urge any one really concerned write AMB. Thanks

Sean, I noticed when scrolling through the recent events page that Michiana Raceway Park is not registered as an organization. The only way you can find our race results is through the event name "MRP, date, track". I think this is probably at least part of the problem. The last event listed, that I can find, is the August 31st race.

Scroll through the race list and you'll see what I mean. Our events are the only listings with a blank "organization" column.

I think their search engine is hosed too.

Yes you are correct Rick. Their search engine used to be one of the best ive seen, finding results on driver name, track name, etc. Now I can't find anything... Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon. Kelly re updated the mylaps this weekend, and she got an error screen, so something is definitely amiss. I appreciate everyone's patience in this matter, as I know I liked looking at the results as well... Hopefully we will here back from AMB shortly.

Rick you have every reason to be upset. Just imagine my position. I am forced into making this high dollar purchase, our staff goes out of their way to bust their buts to upload and follow procedures. MRP in the meantime has not had one thank you for the expense. All we get is grief! No wonder track owners don't venture out and make improvements. They would rather keep their head down low and dodge the bullets. I think I feel the making of a new article.( Grin) Really, I know that Sean, Kelly and Marc will make AMB's life miserable. Let's see how they perform under pressure!

There is an issue, however, many servers were located in the path of Ike. I know that the MRP service transferred their platform to another location in order to provide a continuous service. Let's see how AMB responds.

I will attempt to ask for my money back on Tuesday... ha ha. Now is time for a gorilla warrior like Bruce W. Help us Bruce!

Not upset, just feeling Sean's pain :D

Actually, I was surprised to see this resource was available to racers online. Thanks for making it possible. It's sure nice being able to review the kids times, especially since I haven't taken the Mychron 4 plunge just yet!

I'm sure the problem will get resolved soon.

Now if you guys could just shut off the rain and warm it back up a little so I can get down there and change my hubs, add another 50#'s of lead, and get ready for Sunday!

Sean has passion as does Kelly B. Both have put in a consistant and huge efforts on this project. Each race weekend they have been committed to outstanding performance. This current situation, I am sure is a fluke. How spoiled we are when we get such new technology

In terms of the lead: Will rocks due?(grin) We have lead, bolts and mechanics. Just let us know what you need.

I watched my weatherman, Sunday looks really good. I think we are on borrowed time however for the rest of the fall. I have been begging customers to come out and practice, get laps in for the new year. Things will change, after all it is the fall, time to plant trees, and grass seed.

Thanks for your input and loyal support. Come join the fun, hug your kids and give thanks in this time of turmoil.

If you filter by karting and the US and then scroll through to page 55 you will find the reuslts of round 11. If you have registered your transponder you can acheive the same thing by calling up your own races and then scrolling down to April 6th, 2008 (hence page 55 on the master list).

It would appear that the file for the race on 9/21/08 somehow got saved or subsequently modified and it now thinks it was created on 4/6/08.

Thanks Mr. Stewart. We have determined that the search function is basically useless at the moment, and when Kelly updated the mylaps it reads as being uploaded in April. Why this is I have no clue, but we will be sure to mention it in our discussion with AMB. Sorry for the delay and thanks for all of those that helped.

yes!! the link! haha.
Thanks to all of you for your hard work in following up on the situation. I paid $10 for that transponder rental and I want to see my name up in lights darn it! (just kidding Garry ;-) )
I agree the search engine is worthless. I also agree is didn't used to be that way. Oh well the results are posted now and thats all that matters. See you all at the track this weekend.

Be aware that MyLaps is showing the track as "A" not "B"

Guys,

I want to echo Garry's frustration. Sean, Kelly and I have been dealing with this issue since Kely tried to upload it the night of the races (after you all left the track by the way). Everyone just needs to understand that all persons on the race staff work hard and would never neglect such an issue on purpose. If you have not done so, you should travel to other tracks and compare our staff with theirs. I guarantee you will find that they cannot be beat. We have traveled to others tracks and were happy to come home to MRP.

I just want everyone to know that when you post negative comments here and send e-mails to the staff that are done so in a non-helpful manner, they are perceived as direct hits on that person's intentions. So rather than nitpicking and pointing out someone elses mistakes, lets spend more time working on our own racing or our children's racing. We need to keep it fun for ALL, even the staff.

BTW, I think the purchase of the software and the tools that it has provided are awesome. Garry, I thank you for making that effort. Even though we have had a few hiccups, it has been a very useful tool.

Thanks,

Blake

One thing that may be happening is the IKE affect. I know a good number of servers were located in the path of the storm. This might be the excuse for the hic ups, I don't know. What I am interested is in a response from Greg at AMB who is usually quite pro active and helpful. Thanks for all of the assistance updates to all. Of course we can all point our fingers at Bruce Woodrow for pushing me over the edge to purchase this fine technology. See you this weekend.

When the MyLaps site is working properly the product is excellent. I think that what some do not realize is the amount of extra information that is available when you own your transponder and can register the number. This allows you to look at each individual lap time you have set and compare it with any of your competitors' individual lap times. You can also, easily, look at your results and laptimes from any event you have competed in that has been posted.

Bruce, I agree that owning your own transponder surely has it's advantages. I assume that when I look at the race results the names with the blue icon next to them are people that have there own transponders? I look to buy one myself for the next season.
