Hello Michiana Racers!
This next week ahead is an excellent time for families to practice with their drivers! If you have not taken advantage of the special practice pass at Rolling Green Raceway in Buchanan, MI please call Garry at 269-756-9133 to find out details. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to get inexpensive practice and track time!
MECHANICS CLASS! This weekend, Garry will be hosting a "Mechanics Class" for loyal MRP customers Saturday, August 23 at 9:00 AM and Sunday, August 24 at 4:00 PM. This is intended to help new crew chiefs get "up to speed" on the required tools, methods and specialty needs when attending to a racing kart. Please call ahead to make your reservations as I am only going to work with 5 families at each session. Contact me at 269 756 9133.
B100 "RACE FOR CODY!" PROGRAM! For the entire Fall Season MRP Rock Kart League (Thursday nights), a listener will be chosen EACH WEEK to compete for Team Cody & Deb / B100! The Friday after the event they will call in to report how they did! You can try to enter at www.b100.com or CALL IN to the B100 Cody & Deb morning show for a chance to compete! Cody himself will compete as well in as many of the Thursday events he can attend.
FALL MRP ROCK KART LEAGUES - SIGN UP TODAY! It's never too late to sign up for a league! We are averaging 30+ members each Thursday so join the fun too! Signing up is EASY! Here are the details: http://www.mrpmotorsport.com/ADS/mrp-league.pdf
FREE ROCK KART LESSONS WITH RICK HALL! Don't forget that on Tuesday nights (by appointment), Rick Hall conducts free league racing schools starting at 5 PM. Learn how to be a better Rock Kart racer and get needed practice in before your Thursday night races!
MRP CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES DOUBLE HEADER - August 30 & 31! Don't forget the MRP Championship Double Header on August 30 and 31! Contact the track at 574-288-4922 for details on parking and camping. We look forward to another great festival style race weekend!
