Hi CSIRO-

Wheel alignment tools are very nice to have. You use them to set toe and to square the kart as well as check camber settings you might have made.

Personally - the items you showered weren't the nicest I have seen. We always suggest the Freeline Alignment plates.

They are weighted, have measurement slits so you can do the work w/o the need of someone to hold the other end of the tape measure and they are hub mounted instead of spindle mounted.

These can be found at your local Birel dealer or contact us at 269-756-9133 to help you locate a dealer near you.

thanks Marc for your reply
Does everyone has some sort of a tool to align their wheels, can you get away with may be a ruler or something. The reason a ask is i allocated a budget for my new hoby since i have another hobby that is not cheap. I have salt water fish tank. So if some one her into this hobby they understand what i mean.
Eventually i will buy tools that i will require but at this moment i need to buy an engine trailer suite and license. So wheel alignment is a less concern.
So after all mambo jumbo i wrote my question is can i get away for while with a ruler?
Thank you
Please excuse me if structure of my sentences is not right but English is my second language.
Thank you

You can get away with aligning wheels and tires if you scribe them.. but having toe plates is still the most accurate and easiest way to do it. Using the wheel is cumbersome and you will not get accurate readings and using marks on the tire might be a quick and dirty but is also hard to get a good accurate reading.
