another cadet wheel question

i'm getting another cadet to use in the comer 80 class. i'm getting rid of a tonykart. i have a lot of wheels that use hubs and not the direct spindle type the birels use. if i were to buy hubs for the birels and not use the birel front wheels, would there be a performance decrease? and if not, what hubs would you recommend?

We have hubs and I was thinking of experimenting with direct spindle mount wheels. It appears the front width would be narrower with DSM.

i got my answer already, can use hubs and direct spindles, more tuning possibilities, less grip with direct spindles
