I race in the Yamaha Masters class. This is my first season and I am getting more comfortable with the kart. I do not have to add weight to the chassis/seat but adjust with fuel amounts. I have a medium axle and usually run with a 531/4 to 54 rear width and 2 small 1large spacer on the inside front. I am using Bridgestone YHB 12lbs hot. At my home track which is a tight 8 turn 3/10 mile track I can point the kart where I want. I recently went to a track with a very fast left hand downhill sweep and the kart felt a little loose to go through full speed. Do you have any suggestions to help stick a bit better. I purchased the kart new and it came with a seat strut that reaches the inner bearing carrier. Do you have a part number for a strut that will reach the outter carrier.

Thanks Kurt

Team AZ Karting - We run an AR30 in Senior Sportsman here in Phoenix at a 7/10 fast track. Last season we won the Senior Yamaha Superbox championship with one. Some things that you might try are: to widen front wheels, slightly narrow the rear (1/4" increments), and make sure you are getting the tires up to temperature (with pressure). Remember the AR30 is narrower than the R30. Seat struts are sold by length, so you need to measure for the proper size.
