i have a tire tool and it's easy to pop tires on and off usually, but with these wheels that have the hub built in, i can't use my tool. any suggestions how to mount tires on these rims?

Your kart box should have a set of genuine Free Line wheels inside. If you look in that box, there is a perfect step by step method of removing and replacing tires. Let me know if I should post this on the web somewhere. Thanks for your questions.

i didn't have any instructions in my wheel box. i searched everything, and no instructions. if you could post i'd appreciate it.

i sure would appreciate those instructions. i'm a little frustrated that my kart came with no paperwork at all. i have even been searching the internet for pictures of birels to help me put it together. the rear bumper could be put together a few different ways, and i sure would like to find a pic of one.

Join the club, chassis instructions and paperwork are virtually non-existent for kart owners. There has been mention of Birel set-up sheets but good luck finding them; I have been looking for sheets to attain a baseline set-up for our C28 and AM29 with no success. The standard line is; call your dealer!!!

I don't know of any companies that do an assembly manual.

I should be able to have the photos taken this weekend of a couple of different styles of mounting the rear brackets. It will take an hour.

I went back to a box of new wheels. It appears that the instructions are now missing out of the current shipments. I will try to up load a sample that I found. This will be done later in the day.

Base line set ups on this subject are included in previous posts (archives) we will see if we can cut and paste to find the previous answers already provided.

Hello everyone,

The tire mounting HOW-To can be found on www.GoBirel.com under the HOW TO section.

Bill-

The reason we recommend that a customer speak with their local dealer is two-fold. 1. They might be able to better suit your needs at the track or in person as karting can be complicating andhaving someone to help is important. Products change regularly and we do a very good job of keeping dealers informed. 2. We don't want to take customers away from our dealers and the local tracks you may run may be very different from the ones we are running nationals at - and the local dealer will have the best set-up advice. We don't know the gear ratio for Cadet at Denton, TX - but our local dealer does. Those types of things might come in handy and working with the dealer can help answer those questions right away.

We apologize if that message doesn't come across, but we know our dealers can help you and we put a lot of stock in that.

I used the search function and came up with several set-up answers for both the C28 & AM29. It was track specific though... so, please feel free to ask baseline set-up questions but - be sure to let us know the following:

What track are you running?
What tires?
What axle?
What seat?
what rear width?
What wheels?
what hubs?
Front width?
Air pressure?
Seat mounting measurements?

This information is crucial to giving you difinitive answers on set-up.

Thanks again

In the top red menu bar - 3rd from the right, in between New Posts & Quick Links - is a SEARCH function. You may type in key words and it will take you to posts/threads that reference those key words.
