Congratulations to the drivers and teams that took Birel to the front this weekend for the "CIK" Round of the Floridas Winter Tour.
Jason Lee on the new CR32se dominated Masters Shifter for the MKP Birel Team SWEEPING Qualifying. Pre-Finals and Races both days. CONGRATS JASON!
In Cadet, the C28 continues to be a chassis to be reckoned with as Jacques Saurino (MRP-Birel AMERICA) finished 2nd both days and sat on pole Sunday. Also having solid weekends were Austin Self (MKP-Birel), Dore Chaponick (MRP-Birel AMERICA) and Logan Beardon (MKP-Birel) all having solid top 10 runs. Self would complete the weekend with a 4th and 5th.
Alex Speed (MRP-Birel AMERICA) put the new CR32 on the podium in the ProShifter class finsihing 3rd on Sunday. Josh Schreiber (MRP-Birel AMERICA) was poised to also run in the top 5, qualifying 5th and running 5th in the PF but problems in the final took him out of contention.
Also putting in solid performances....
Brandon Atkins (MRP-Birel AMERICA) - 5th in Spec Racer on a Rx30
Sage Karam (MRP-Birel AMERICA) - 2nd in JICA pre-final on the R31 (8th in Saturday's final)
Juan Valderamma (Rico Racing) - 5th in Sunday's final on an R31
